You’re not ready to play horror games… you’ll piss yourself.
You can’t go on stage to do your speech… you’re not ready.
So you tell your homies that you want to go bungee jumping or skydiving, and one of them is like “you’re not ready.” Now don’t take this quote directly because there are different variations of it like “you can’t do it” etc etc. Anyway, after hearing that you’re not ready, you might take their “advice” and never try or don’t give a shit and go skydiving anyway.
If you’re one of the people who do listen to your friends/family telling you that you can’t do this or you’re not ready for that, understand that no one can be ready for anything without experience. And experience is gained from taking action. If I had that mentality or if I would listen to people who told me to not even try, I would get nowhere. There’s no growth if you play it safe. Without ever starting a business because someone says “you’re not ready to bear loss” will enable you to get nowhere. Imagine if Tom Cruise was like “I’m not ready to hang from a plane.” Mission Impossible would lose its magic without the stunts! We fall to pick ourselves up (literally and metaphorically).
So don’t listen to people when they discourage you from taking risks or doing something new because in the end, you’re limitless!
Movie Recommendation: Forrest Gump (Forrest was able to become a pro table tennis player, a war hero, businessman and husband. He wasn’t smart but that didn’t stop him from taking risks).
Yayay I loved this!!
Also, this made me watch mission impossible right now hahah
